Organisation is really important. Get your bag and uniform ready the night BEFORE, that way you are less likely to forget books and equipment.
Try to do your homework when you get it. The information is fresh in your mind so will make it easier for you do it.
Teachers and staff at Croxley Danes are there to help. If you have any questions or problems, however small, go and speak to them.
Always make an effort to participate in lessons. Have a go at answering questions. Even if you get it wrong, you learn from your mistakes.
The size of the school may seem daunting during the first few weeks. It’s amazing how quickly you get to know your way around, then you will be wondering why you ever worried in the first place!
There will be lots of new school rules to get used to, but the most important one is to listen and ask for help if you do not understand.
Don’t use your mobile phone at school, you are not allowed to have it out inside the school site.
Smart watches and ear buds are not allowed in school.
